Employee of the Year
Each year, the Christina School District honors outstanding educators and employees through the Teachers and Employee Champions of the Year awards. After a rigorous selection process, each school building selects a Teacher of the Year, who then competes for the prestigious title of District Teacher of the Year. Additionally, the district recognizes Employee Champions of the Year from each classified employee group, with the winner going on to compete for the District Educational Support Professional of the Year. Brader Elementary School
Tina has quickly made a big difference for both students and staff at Brader Elementary. She cares deeply and uses a kind, trauma-aware approach that helps every child feel understood. Tina adjusts her teaching to support all learners, whether they need extra help or want a challenge. She has also enriched our library with diverse books so every student can see themselves in the stories they read. Her creative ideas, like Readers Theatre for first graders, make learning fun and active. Thank you, Tina, and congratulations!
